Padauk is a striking exotic hardwood from Africa, prized for its vibrant reddish-orange color when freshly cut, and is known for being strong, stable, and highly durable. Over time, it naturally deepens into rich reddish-brown or purplish tones.

This pen features a Made in the USA Fisher Space Pen Medium Point Pressurized Cartridge. A high-quality refill known for its reliability, ability to write upside-down, and write in extreme conditions.

I personally hand-turn each piece of wood on the lathe, brand it with the Naggara USA mark, and carefully assemble the pen in my workshop in Murrieta, California.

Thank you very much for supporting my small business. I hope your heart finds its treasure here.

***Wood Care Note***

Natural wood is a living material that can change in appearance and integrity over time due to environmental factors, usage, and handling.

To help ensure the long-lasting beauty and durability of your handmade pen:

Avoid extreme conditions: Excessive heat (e.g., leaving the pen in a hot car or direct sunlight), rapid temperature changes, water, or high humidity can cause cracking, warping, or discoloration.

Handle with care: Some woods are more prone to damage than others. Dropping the pen may cause cracks that weaken the structure over time.

Daily use: Natural oils from your skin can gradually discolor the wood. Wipe the pen regularly with a soft, dry cloth.

Maintenance tip:

Periodically apply a light coat of quality furniture paste wax (or your preferred wood oil) and buff gently to nourish and protect the finish.

Each Naggara USA pen is hand-turned from unique wood, so slight variations in grain and color are part of its one-of-a-kind character. With proper care, it will provide years of faithful service.

Finish

Each pen is finished with Tried & True Danish Oil—a pure, polymerized linseed oil that penetrates the wood to enhance its natural grain and beauty. I choose this finish so the pen feels warm and authentic in your hand, just as nature intended, rather than a plastic-like coating.

With proper care, it will develop a rich patina over time that tells the story of its use.
